I used safe mode and now, mac monterry is asking me to create a session, i did it hoping the data would still be here, and unfortunately it's not the case.

I googled a bit and saw that I can update the Mac with cmd + r (or something like that) to get the latest mac update, I did it.Īfter the update, i logged on her session, same problem, forced me to use safe mode. I was able to pass this bug by using safe mode. If I hit continue again, the password box re-appears and I'm stuck in an endless loop. I enter the computer password in the box that appears but when I submit that, it just stays on the same screen and doesn't progress the install.

When I run the Monterey installer, it shows the hard drive it's being installed on and I click continue.

On my Mac Mini Apple Silicon M1, when I go into recovery mode on my M1 Mac Mini it shows “Reinstall macOS Monterey” instead of “Reinstall macOS Ventura”.
